erm ok as you guys can see i removed my chatbox for the time being. For those who come here often enough the reason is obvious. Freaks have been frequenting my blog lately and are adding stupid comments in the chatbox. And since i'm not going to be online this few days i decided to remove it for a while. It's exam time now and im in bandar utama going back on monday and for my weekly update on american idol-- Kellie was voted out. Finally. Okay then cu guys next time!

Okay so i'm on again when two days ago, i clearly stated that the next time i come on would be on sunday. But hey, rules are meant to be broken right? Well at least that's my concept. :P
Well, nothing much has been going on lately, everyone has been studying like crap. And i mean, CRAP. Coz exam's next week, and the whole bunch of us has only just started studying. Man... and pengetua is expecting 20 straight As from us.
Pressure, pressure, pressure.
(So that is why i'm online today, to release stress.)
This morning, we went to watch the debate finals state level which was batu pahat (the same nerd team that beat us last year) against Kulai (the team we lost to during quarter finals). 'Streaming in schools produces better academic achievers' was the motion and Batu Pahat was the affirmative, which was kinda sad, because that side was easy and it went to the better team. Kulai was panicky, just like we were last year. I mean, who wouldn't panic when you are sitting opposite three too-nerdy-too-be-true Guys? No offence, but that nerdy english slang of their just ticks me off. The second speaker from BP was really good. I think he has never won without getting the BEST SPEAKER AWARD. I mean, he spoke without a script! NO cue cards, no paper, just air in his hands. And he was totally cooool and caaallllmmmm. The third speaker was ok, just a slight fumble here and there. Last year's third speaker was way cooler. Diyana, the third speaker from Kulai, was really nervous, and she went extra fast. Poor girl. Yup so that's the update.

**Whheeeeeeee... **
its seven thirty now. I know, why is jocelyn up so early in the morn? Well, i guess i've had enough sleep already after coming back from singapore at ten yesterday.
West Side Story was awesome. It's a broadway musical talking bout a Polish gang and a Pueorta (darn how do u spell this) Rican gang fighting over a street. Hehe.. it was really funny and their voices were unbelievable. So it was singing, dancing, talking, singin, dancing, talking....for 2 hours. But it was a magical two hours. I loved it. Certainly worthed the money. There was a song called 'Tonight' in the musical, and when the two main characters were singing that song, i was like, 'Hm... why is this song so familiar?' After the show, then only i realized that i've heard it before, during the canticle singer's -'Do you hear the people sing' and it was sung by my ex church member. WOw. She must have been pretty good too, because it was not an easy song to sing. Well, on the whole:

The Esplanade was filled with Ang Mo Lang (Guai Lou), coz it seems it's too expensive for Singaporeans. Is it?
After that, we headed to Suntec City. I must say there really isn't much to see there, except makan shops, makan stalls, and makan restaurants. But there was a sale there so me, being the only young girl there ( my mum doesn't like shoppin!!!!! ), rushed there to join in the fiesta. I bought a shirt, that's all, coz i couldn't try, so was kinda reluctant to buy more. :P. I'm not that rich to buy clothes, not knowing whether i can wear them or not, so yeah...
Later, we went to our uncle's place, and had dinner there. Chatted a little, got to know more about being an army in Singapore from my cousin, and then we headed back to Malaysia at 830pm. Reached at ten, and went to bed.
End of the day.
Beginning of sunday. What i am going to do:
-wash up after this
-have breakfast
-read sunday star
-do tuition hw, study, do moral project.....(lunch dinner all in)
-chinese tuition
-wash up n sleep
Simple enough to understand. Okay i'm going to say something i have been very very reluctant to say earlier on, but i have to say it anyway--I will only be coming on once a week starting from TODAY so my blog is going to be updated hopefully only on NEXT SUNDAY. Don't ask my why, i believe i've made it quite obvious in my past few craposts. :P *arrrghh i don't want to do thissss..but i really really have no choice!!*

Oooh. I totally to forgot to update about american idol and survivor.
Well let's start with American Idol. Well as you guys know, Ace was kicked out. PARIS and chris were among the bottom three. Well, Paris had always been there, but CHRIS? I thought he was pretty (ignore the pun) good. And anyway i kinda switched from one idol to three--
PARIS, KATHARINE, AND TAYLOR.
Why i like Katharine? Her vocals are good, and she is damn pretty man. Taylor? Well, i just admire his who-cares-what-people-think-about-me--this-is-me attitude. He rocks!! As for Paris, the contrast between her Minnie Mouse talking voice and her singing voice just amuses me. HEheeee... As Simon said--'I prefer your singing to your talking.' Hahaa...
Now. Survivor. Last week Sally was sent home. This week, something tragic happened. :(. Well i'll start with the beginning of the episode. The reward challenge was one that really opened up the eyes of overly-sensitive and annoying Courtney, as she realized that her team members considered her the most annoying person in the tribe. Hilarious, it was, when she said she was offended. Hehee... And Shane got pissed off when Cirie, the winner of the challenge, didn't take him along with her, but instead she chose Danielle. No guesses who Cirie sent to Exile Island--Terry. So Courtney, Shane and Bruce were left. At night, Bruce, who had suffered from severe stomache pain for four days already called for medical help. Medics rushed in and Bruce had to be rushed to the hospital. !!! Turned out that his whole digestive system and collone system was blocked. Awww... poor thing. SO he was immediately out of the game. How sad. I kinda admired him. And so no immunity challenge was needed and no one was voted out of the game today.
So for those of you out there who think that SURVIVOR is a piece of cake, how bout a change of view?
School was basically as dull as yesterday. All we had was one period of physics. :P. Wonder where all the teachers in the school have been to. VACATION? Okay.

Lets play a game.
What did i eat today?
i had mixed rice for lunch.
After that i took barley. You know, the drink.
Then i had watermelon.
Then i munched on some peanuts.
Right after that i took some pineapple.
Then i had cheese rings.
I'm gonna have dinner soon.
And i'm so freaking FULL.
I'm going to stick to my theory that whatever i eat between lunch and dinner time does not become fat. Instead, it becomes nothing. Which means i'm actually afraid of getting fat but nothing can stop me from eating. Even the two ulcers i have in my mouth right now, one on each side. Wanna noe how i got it? I bit myself. Yes, twice. Yeeeeesh.
Tomorrow we are gonna have that silly sports test thingy again. I hate that.

I'm going to flunk this exam.

YES!! Cheer 2006 is here!! I rushed up immediately after i had my lunch and read my newpapers to tell all my readers this wonderful good newsss---CHEER 2006 is coming on JULY 1st and 2nd!
Well not that most people won't know about it already... Anyway this year there would be a competition held in Johor! *hey isn't that where im at?*.. Yeah it's called the Cheer 2006 South, just like the Cheer 2006 North last year. So NORTH would be on June 24, SOUTH would be on June 25...and then the final national CHEER 2006 competition on JULY 1st and 2nd!!! **i must go i must go i must go....**
blahzzzzz... i wonder how BLITZERZ is doing...hhee... one good team with a good captain.. Expecting lots from you guys!! *can't wait to be thereeee*. Yikes i'm not even sure if i can actually go or not seeing that it may even clash with my test or something.....
But anyway... i'll try my best to go!! Cheerleading rockz man!!
Okay school was a drag today. I had my tests which was history, BM, and Chinese. And because joel and i took the tests one week later than the rests, we knew quite a bit of the questions. So yeah.. history... i'm going to get 86, unless i copied the answers incorrectly. I just took out my whole rujukan boook to copy for BM even though some teacher was in the room too, but i think he didn't really care either. For Chinese, i took out the book too, but i didn't know what to look for either. So chinese was my effort!!
Oh well. Now i have to go bathe, do homework, and rush off for tuition. There's American Idol tonight and i'm still for PARIS BENNET!! Even though she was one of the bottom few last week. BLahz. Ciao.

WOW. these few days have been real tiring man...... WuZhiLian took up so much of everyone's sleep and rest. :P This is the summary of what happened fo these three days:
FRIDAY:
-Went to sch
-Had chinese society meeting
-Went for BIo tuition
-Went back home.. watched Agent Cody Banks on tv.. then erm..studied.. i think..
SATURDAY:
-Went to Pei Chun in the morn at around 8 o clock to help out.
-MAN everything was in a mess! The mirror figure wasn't done.. the paint kept spilling here and there..(caused by me hehee...) and blah balh... everything was not in order...
-It was actually kinda fun lar if you look at it in another way.. There we were, working so hard to finish everything by midnight, but having fun at the same time by talking and chatting and singing and dancing....:P.. haha...
-We had our fashion show rehearsal which was kinda crappy for me because i had no idea what i was supposed to do because i had so far only attended one practice session.. I was kinda scared that i did it wrongly because when our president gets angry, it is real scary....:P
-WE FINISHED THE MIRROR FIGURE BY EIGHT O CLOCK AT NIGHT!! It was very very very nice.. hehee....:P.. loved it alot... but the big board for the backdrop still wasn't done yet...
-It was nine o clock when we continued with our work after the final rehearsal. Our legs were aching, our bodies tired, but we went on with our work, occasionally stopping to dance and sing to release fatigue (didn't really work for me.. made me more lethargic)...
-By ten thirty i had to leave because mum and dad were calling me up...
-The rest went home at around 2 o clock sunday morning if im not mistaken.
SUNDAY:
-I woke up at 545 in the morning.
-Went to church for the easter wake service. Mum and i were 20 minutes late so we kinda missed the whole thing.
-After that, we had breakfast and mum dropped me off at pei chun.
-THE BACKDROP ROCKED! It was so coooooooool.. The mirror figure was so shiny!! (i'll show you guys the picture next time)
-i kacaued some people because i had nothing to do. Found out that KianYean didn't sleep at all.. AWww.. poor thing.
-The whole thing started at around 1045 i think. I had nothing to do!! So i just walked here and there, occasionally stopping to talk to some people who had nothing to do just like me...
-At around 12, mum n dad arrived. I temaned them for a while then went off.
-OH yeah the DIVER in my chatbox also went,but he went off for after a short while saying that it was real boring. OH whatever..blehz
-After lunch, we started changing into our outfits.
-I was kinda horrified with mine but it was too late i guesss...
-Shivering, i walked onto the stage with 9 other girls... haha... it was quite fun actually.
-EVerything ended at 400pm!!! We started taking photos, posing here and there blah blah blah..
-We finished clearing up at around 7pm.
-The gang went for steamboat but i opted out because mum n dad were waiting for me for dinner.
-Went home, ate, showered, read the newspapers, and slept.. (didn't bother studying at all)
MONDAY:
-Bio was easy but i forgot to read some form 5 experiments.,,
-Chem was totally crappy because i had no idea what i was writing.
-Moral was super hard!!!!!!
-EST was ok. I didn't bother checking because i was so dead tired.
-Went home straight, argued with my mum a lil, then read a book, then studied, then tuition, then piano, then dinner, then here i am.
-TODAY only 6 people out of 28 chinese went to sch for the test. FOrm 5 i mean. So all the teachers were really really angry.. and Chinese teacher was especially pissed off because it somehow meant that she was going to get it from the principal. I mean.. if i was the teacher, i would be pretty mad too. If it was a normal schoolday it won't be that bad, but fact remains that today was a test day! There's no such thing as 'i had no time to study, so i rather dont take the test.' Well these people are my friends so i guess i should be defending them but somehow i don't wanna side with the wrong side. Sorry guys.
okay i got to go study now... seems that i have add maths and modern maths and physics test tmr. BYez!
OH wait before i forget..

ALOHA! How do you do? My name is Jocelyn and this is my blog!
Okay well basically only one teacher came into class today so it was pretty much a very very uneventful day because all i did was help with the chinese society things and look for some teachers and that's it. Didn't even study for my test on monday cause i just didn't have the mood for it. After school, we all went to watch the chinese debate held in the Hokkien Society Building. Is that what you call it? OH well anyway it was our school versus pei chun chinese independent school. Kinda surprised, i thought the match would be a very interesting one, but both teams seemed unprepared. I'm not saying they are not strong, but i expected more from both teams. IN the end, our school won by just a few points, so yeah.. i guess it was quite ok lar...
What else to say.. oh yeah tomorrow is Good Friday, which for your information is the day Jesus was hung on the cross. Yeap the day he sacrificed his life to wash away all our sins. The day we, the sinners, could all be saved and would not perish but have eternal life. And Easter, is the day Jesus rose again. The day he resurrected (my spelling is bad, is this correct?) from the dead. OH by the way i was reading Da Vinci Code again. And i would like to announce again that THIS BOOK IS A FICTION!!! cause some of my friends believe it even after i keep repeating and repeating that it is just a made up story...!!! Yeah and the movie is coming out, so before it does, please please please i would like to tell everyone dat THAT IS NOT THE TRUE STORY OF CHRIST!!!!!

Well, i guess it'a pretty obvious from the title that we lost our debate today. I don't really know why we lost because Kulai's stand was totally confusing. OUr motion was -'Attitude is the main determinant of success in life' and we got affirmative. The 1st speaker from Kulai said that you cannot measure success, the 2nd speaker said that success in life means overall success, and the third speaker said that noone can achieve overall success in life. That was so freaking confusing. So JOel went up and said -' 1st speaker said....2nd speaker said.. WHAT ARE you all trying to say? No one understands you!' which was literally true because they were basically just twisting and changing the motion. BLahz. I was pretty disappointed and so was joel. ON the way back which for your information was 2 hours, joel me and qianglin just sat there, so sad, and so tired. Darn. We should have won. We stayed back in schoool everyday, went to school for like what 8 hours yesterday, and skipped all our lessons and all our tests! I'm so damn angry i feel like crying right now. ARRRRRGGGGGGHHH! And now joel and i have to sit for tests! and we don't even know what chapter or what is coming out!! Haihzz.. so i told joel he study physics and i study bio. then we just change papers. :P. BUt oh well one good thing did come out from today's debate-- no more debate practices. BUt somehow i don't feel glad at all. *sigh*. i guess this feeling will be with me for quite a while ... until i finally realize that this is God's will.. and even if we won we would have lost to Convent JB who beat KLuang, and BAtu pahat who beat Convent Muar.... OH Batu pahat was represented by high school batu pahat which was the same team that beat us flat during finals last year and yeah.. they look as NERDY as ever..:P
OH yeah bout another lame joke that Joel cracked today during our quarantine (kinda forgot how u spell this) session:

There's basically three things on my mind now--
debate, debate and debate.
We practised like mad today, well not really, it's more like we spent a lot of time in school today supposedly practising from 10 to 6. So yeah, it's been a real tiring day for me and i probably will be putting myself to bed at around nine thirty. I mean, i have to wake up at 5 tmr!! And so i would have to sleep early today, in case my brain starts getting cranky tmr morn, and then i'll start laughing when i present my speech, like i did today because i had lack of sleep last night. Oh well that's debate. I guess it's pretty stressful but it's kinda fun at times too.
Hmmm.. i really have nothing much to say. :P.

this lame incident reminds me of our form 2 times.. where we had this sleepover party at amelia's place. We were bomberman on playstation if im not mistaken, and then we reached a draw game, cause like my team won twice, and amanda's team won twice too.. So the screen showed two big words --'DRAW GAME", and then ..lydia said--'What draw game? No pencil also...' And i was like...'errr...' I thought she really didn't realize what she was saying but turned out that she was trying to make us laugh hehee...:P.. but i did i think. lol.

I realized i like old songs better than new songs. Maybe i have the feeling that old songs are more meaningful. If you really look at it carefully, nowadays the song lyrics are all nonsense. It seems like they don't have anything to sing about anymore, so they just randomly picked some silly topic and made it their theme. I mean, it's total crap, some of it. I can't list you an example coz i don't really know which song i'm talking about but yeah, in general, some songs nowadays are really really about silly stuff you would never think about. It's like music is becoming something that you make to impress everyone, not by the lyrics, but how many nice beats and tunes you are creating. What happened to the days when music was what you composed to express your feelings??

Phew! What a tiring day today! Spent the whole day eating. OKay just to make it simple because i know what a nuisance it is when you have too many words jumbled up together in one paragraph so here's a short summary of what i did today.
Morning:
Woke up at nine o clock and went online. Did my debate script which was really lousy because i didn't quite know how to write it, because it's so tough.. the topic. Chatted with a few people until around one o clock and then walked to centrepoint to have lunch with su ann.
Afternoon:
Had lunch with Su ann at secret recipe. Ate cheesecake and chocolate cake for lunch while we talked about everything from school to food to life. Yeah we kinda gossiped a little but hey! We're gurlss lol.. it's natural to talk bout guys and all.. hehee... Then we walked around for a while, went to the supermarket and bought some chips. Sat in the lil park bench and ate and talked. So basically what i had for lunch was - '3/4 of a cheeesecake, 1/4 of a choc cake, and 3/5 of a packet of chips.' Add them altogether and it will equal to = FAT.
Evening:
After having lunch with Su Ann, our family went to ou for a while where sis and i went to mph to read (lol this is called releasing stress) while mum and dad went grocery shopping. Hehee...:P
Night:
Went to 'the ship' to makan. Nyam nyam.. i had er... what ar.. oh yeah..--minute steak because i wasn't dat hungry. It wasn't dat small, it was pretty big actually so i was really full by the time i finished my meal, coz i also cubit here and there lar from my sis' fish and prawns set , dad's lamb chop set, and mum's steak set which tasted a lil like mine lol. yeah so that's what we did and we came back really early. Around eight o clock. Early right?
I'm having bad backache now i have no idea why.
Maybe cause not enough sleep. BUt i'm not sleepy.

lol today was one EVENTFUL day.
Well before i start (hehe.the debate fever has really gotten to me), let me just say once again that this post may be dull, so if you're allergic and highly afraid of boring and lame crap, do not read. Shut your eyes and leave!!
Anyway, today was the first day in like my two years in Dato that i actually fell like attending class, cause i haven't been attending class for so long and i feel that im not a student anymore. So yeah, i happily excused myself from debate practice during the third period, and went downstairs for chemistry class. ALAS! Teacher didn't come to sch. AAAAAHhh.. i was so disappointed.. and what more, i was told that physics teacher didn't come also! I mean... WHAT? So i spent the whole day in wadah informasi with debate pals and yeah... it was pretttty fun i must say. Well, we did try to discuss about our debate stand for the match against KULAi, but in the end me and joel started playing with the mike wire so the discussion was therefore unofficially dismissed.
One thing i learned today--MIKE wires make good skipping ropes, but just try not to make too much noise when you jump up and down on the ground.
Yeap... so we skipped and played and laughed until i we were rolling on the floor (literally), and then we went back to try the mike and see whether it worked. Well, let's just say that, whether it worked or not, is a totally different story altogether. :P
Came back around one something with a rough sketch on our stand for wednesday. Trying to write my script now as i would be going to KL tonight thus making it hard for me to concentrate on the debate. LOL. Errrrm... Oh yeah tmr i won't be doing anything, probably just meet up with my best pal (suann) and erm... yeah probably rush over to popular to read some books and get info for the debate.

Yup, that's what i said. You see, the stakes are high for this match. If we win, we go to the next round. IF we lose, we don't go to the next round, and even worse, we would have to sit for our tests then. If we win, there would be no time for us to resit our tests because the next round would be coming sooon, and one week after dat would be our big examination. So, there's obviously one big motivation for us to win. :P It's simple. Tests or no tests. Your choice? hehe...

--these was after the debate, before the results were announced, when we were all tired and sweaty after waiting for almost half an hour--pheww! the finals of the district level debate is finally over. All the stress, tension and hard work that we have gone through because of this single match is finally gone. What we thought was going to be one hell of a fight turned out to be a piece of cake. Sdaha's stand was wrong, and so we banged them down with our rebuttals, and thought that this was a sure win. We did win, but somehow it was not a unanimous decision, and we were really shocked when told that one judge was against us. That was a real disappointing moment. Besides, the best speaker when to the negative team, and the best thing was the judges took 45 minutes to decide who the best speaker would be. There was obviously some really heated arguments in the meeting room, but what really happened? Nobody really knows. Haihzz.. now the tension is building up once again as we prepare to meet Kulai with the same topic. BUt this time, there would be a 50 50 chance that we might get negative, and therefore we should try to find the most accurate stand, unlike sdaha. Research research research. Man.. this stress is killing me.

SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASEEE!!! how to change the date and time??!?!?
so today's BM tuition was cancelled again.
Mum came back last night from KL. SHe brought back my Baskin Robbins, and to my absolute horror, it was like liquid. My icecream melted! I almost cried lol. Don't ask me why i asked her to buy all the way from KL, it's quite obvious. THERE ISN"T ANY BASKIN ROBBINS HERE!! :(... yeah, so i put the liquidcream into the fridge, and luckily by this morning it was Icecream again. Cause Baskin Robbin icecream is so rich and creamy n there's less water in it, so it still tastes like icecream even after being refreezed. ahaha... i lurve Baskin RObbins. COz i can't afford Haagen Daaz. (i kinda forgot how to spell it)
i'm so bored. Im doing physics now and was watching Formula 1 earlier. Today's race sucked. THe safety car went it four times, and yeah... And actually i just realized F1 is kinda cool, because it's so physicsy. It's like --the F1 car goes so fast that blah blah daya blah blah so you can actually drive it upside down in a tunnel...-- and --and F1 driver loses 2 kg per race because......- . lol. and i heard someone say throught the team radio--'HEy go faster! He's catching up with you one second per lap!!' WOw.. that's so cool. .lol that's me. Impressed over silly stuff. DOn't mind me. :P
